Byzantine Tales was created in 2019, when we decided to combine our passion for art and history to create a series of illustrated books that focus on stories from Greek and Roman history. Our vision is to bring to life the history of the quite unknown medieval Roman East. We aim towards historical accuracy but also towards a narrative that is as epic as "Game of Thrones" or "Lord of the Rings", two shows and book series  that we look up to.
